About Showing on the OCEA
The OCEA is a student run organization in which riders of different levels and disciplines come together and compete in hunter equitation classes! Riders are not required to bring their own horse as these shows are of "catch-riding" style; in which riders are to complete a hunter equitation course or an under saddle on a randomly selected horse with no prior warm-up. The circuit runs from September - April with each school from their respected zone hosting a show, ending in the final competition run by the OCEA Exec!
